This is an interactive environmental education resource that introduces the concept of sustainability and asks users to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Rethink their actions in the areas of Waste, Water, Energy, Air and Biodiversity.
Through the context of local conditions and local school educational guidelines, the Ollie Saves the Planet Program encourages children, their parents, teachers and community groups to appreciate their connection to the natural world and to understand their ecological footprint.
The program will help show the children of today where products and services come from, where waste goes and what their family's daily consumption of goods and services does to other living species. It will do this by linking to other key environmental issues under the organising principle of sustainability.
