Baggage Limits
The free checked baggage allowance is one piece not exceeding 16kg per passenger (except infants under 2 years not occupying a seat). The total linear measurement must not exceed 140cm (add together the depth, width and length).
The free cabin baggage allowance is one piece not exceeding 4kg per passenger (except infants under 2 years not occupying a seat).The total linear measurement must not exceed 105 cm (add together the depth, width and length). Due to the size of the aircraft cabin storage is limited. Check-in staff at all ports are required to sight all carry-on baggage.
Excess Baggage charges will apply for any baggage that is in excess of the free baggage allowance. Passengers will be charged $4 per kilo over 16kg which will be payable to Regional Pacific Airlines on check in. Due to weight restrictions Regional Pacific Airlines can not guarantee carriage of excess baggage and it will travel on a space available basis. No individual item of baggage can exceed 32kgs due to Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
Dangerous Goods
Some items that are regarded as safe on the ground but take on an entirely different nature when subjected to the rigors of pressures involved in flying.

Electronic Devices
Hazards exist to aircraft systems by Electro-Magnetic Interference from portable Electronic Devices. The interference can cause aircraft systems to malfunction. To provide adequate protection for the aircraft, please note that:

Mobile phones are not to be used at any time on board the aircraft.

Other electronic devices including compact disc players, portable palm top and laptop computers, cassette players, personal electronic organisers or personal video games may be used during cruise only, NOT when the aircraft is taking off and landing.

Please ensure that check-in staff are alerted if a computer is being carried as part of your check-in luggage to ensure it is appropriately handled.
